1. Clash (Dreamacro/clash) — archived
The repository was archived in November 2023 and there have been no releases since. Binaries still circulating sit around v1.18.0 and lack the rule-set, sniffing and TUN capabilities added later.
2. Clash Premium / Clash for Windows — discontinued
The closed-source Premium core and the CFW graphical client both ended development at the same time. The "localised" and "cracked" CFW builds on third-party sites have unclear provenance and are exactly the kind of installer to avoid.
3. Mihomo (formerly Clash.Meta) — the current core
A community-maintained fork that stays backward compatible with Clash configs. You can download the binary on its own from our download page.
4. Clash Verge Rev — the current desktop client
A cross-platform GUI built on Mihomo, and the most active and complete desktop option available. It is what this site recommends by default.
